THE SALE OF OUR HOME WAS OUT OF STATE & STILL AMANDA WAS REMARKABLE
While my family and I have known Amanda for many years (her legendary mom sold my parents their property more than 50 years ago!), I was completely unprepared for the scope of her incredible talent. Amanda is extremely knowledgeable and savvy about the market, with unerring instincts about the area and canny insights into people. But she is more than simply talented: Amanda is deeply thoughtful, kind (but tough, too, in all the right ways), and remarkably generous. She went out of her way, above and beyond, in every phase of our work together to make our lives smoother and easier. We were selling our home out of state and Amanda literally took care of everything that needed to be done -- things that would have necessitated extra time-consuming/labor-intensive trips for us to accomplish. She communicated with us daily, often multiple times a day, combining her warmth and kindness with a solid, reliable business sense. In short, she was a perfect advisor, guide, and colleague in a process which can be challenging (and even a little painful). I have only the highest praise for Amanda and would recommend her without a moment's hesitation -- my only regret is that, now that our house has been sold (with lightning speed and a phenomenal result), I won't get to talk with her every day. Amanda is, hands down, the best, most wonderful realtor I've ever worked with!

Amongst the multitude of Agents I could have selected I literally struck "Gold" when I chose Amanda. I can highly recommend Amanda. She made selling my house a smooth experience. She guides you through every step and is always there for you. Amanda is not only knowledgeable but also efficient. During the process, she sets you up with people for inspections, estimates, staging, gardening etc. She informs you every time someone is coming and offers to be there if you cannot. One morning, right before an Open House, I found her, in high heels, shoveling off a dusting of snow. She is a smart negotiator as well. Amanda helped us sell our house in Short Hills and purchase our new home close by. As we were moving out of the home where we lived while our kids went through elementary through high school, I had a lot of trepidation (as well as boxes :)! Amanda sensed that and helped us handle the physical and emotional toll of this move. Nothing was too small or too large for her to handle. She had a recommendation and fix for every issue that arose and never lost her calm during a process that can be anything but. While we've heard horror stories of houses languishing on the market, the whole process took just a few months. She held our hands during the months that we prepped to put the house on the market (and even helped us sort through our house) through showing the house, negotiating the contract, inspection and closing. I cannot emphasize enough what a calm, reassuring presence she provided and what a pleasure it was to work with her.
